Job Summary

Accountable for Safe and Reliable operations at the Lake Charles facility, overseeing polypropylene units, Catalloy, CoGen, Utilities, Wastewater, Finish Product Handling, and the Laboratory. Monitor KPIs to drive efficient, high-quality production and cost control within budget. Lead daily production and reliability routines, manage audits and incident follow-up, develop budgets and strategic plans, and coach/develop personnel while aligning leadership and direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure safe and reliable operations across the Lake Charles facility, covering two polypropylene units, Catalloy, CoGen, Utilities, Wastewater, Finish Product Handling, and the Laboratory.
•Monitor KPIs to ensure efficient operations, quality production, and cost control within the operating budget.
•Lead hazard recognition audits, review Intelex incidents with proper investigation and follow-up, and ensure quality and environmental policies are implemented.
•Lead emergency operations as Operations Coordinator during plant emergencies and actively participate in weekly staff walkarounds and daily production meetings.
•Develop and manage annual operating budgets and five-year operations strategic plans; review performance variances and create action plans; coach and develop personnel and support hiring/workforce planning.

Key Requirements

•B.S. degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility, or 15+ years of operating experience in PP technologies.
•Demonstrated leadership ability with prior management experience.
•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
•Ensure life-critical safety practices and policies are followed by Operations.
•Other critical competencies: strategic leadership, driving improvement in others, champion of change, delegation, and empowerment.
