Job Summary

Design and document audiovisual (AV) system solutions for customer needs, partnering with Account Managers during pre-sales. Translate requirements into functional designs, bill of materials, and infrastructure plans, while assessing risks, site conditions, and dependencies. Present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and create design standards packages. Support implementation as a technical “design authority,” coordinating with vendors, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure accurate, feasible execution.

•Partner with Account Managers to translate customer requirements into functional AV system designs.
•Create and maintain design documentation (bill of materials, block diagrams, infrastructure plans, scopes of work) for proposal and execution.
•Determine infrastructure requirements (power, data, conduit) and coordinate with general contractors and vendors.
•Assess project risks and account for site conditions, scheduling requirements, and dependencies in the design.
•Support project implementation by providing technical input as a design authority as needed.
