Job Summary

Design and implement high-performance, cloud-ready full-stack solutions for the AI & Decision Engineering Platform that powers Mastercard’s real-time fraud prevention and identity validation. Own end-to-end software delivery for an application component, write and test code, and support production incidents. Work with Spring, REST APIs, gRPC, and modern cloud tooling, participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, and mentor team members while shaping next-generation decisioning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Own software delivery tasks (design, development, test, deployment, support, documentation, configuration) at the application/component level.
•Develop full-stack capabilities, coding front end and REST API/backend applications.
•Participate in SAFe Agile scrum ceremonies and drive code/design/process trade-off discussions.
•Review coding, test, and automation work, and help drive engineering principles, technology standards, and best practices.
•Write and execute unit, mutation, integration, functional, and regression tests; troubleshoot production incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 111,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Write secure code in three or more languages (e.g., Java, React, SQL) and understand secure coding standards (OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerability management.
•Strong knowledge of Spring and other frameworks.
•Use GoF design patterns and implement efficient code.
•Understand application and business process patterns (APIs, event-driven services, batch services, web apps, big data) and implement API/gRPC standards.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
