Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Enterprise Applications, Legal, and Deal Desk to assess revenue recognition positioning for new initiatives under ASC 606.
  • •Research, resolve, and write technical revenue position papers documenting accounting conclusions and economic substance for complex transactions and acquisitions.
  • •Evaluate commercial structures (including consumption-based billing and multi-element packaging) and determine appropriate accounting treatment and performance obligations, providing recommendations for ASC 606 compliance.
  • •Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale technical revenue processes and translate insights into system/policy recommendations that improve accounting efficiency and reduce launch friction.
  • •Serve as primary contact for external auditors on technical revenue matters, preparing support packages and maintaining SOX control documentation for owned processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • •Active CPA license.
  • •5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 2+ years of Technical Revenue experience.
  • •Deep, practical ASC 606 expertise with standalone selling price, performance obligation identification, variable consideration, material rights, contract modifications, and principal vs. agent analysis.
  • •Demonstrated technical accounting research and writing, with position papers/policies that held up under audit and management review.
