Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced algorithmic capabilities for BattleSpace Awareness command & control software. You will bridge system design, requirements management, modeling & simulation, and verification & validation, decompose requirements across cross-functional teams, develop test plans, analyze performance with simulation and field data, and own end-to-end systems to deliver robust, configurable solutions in a defense technology environment.

•Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced algorithmic capabilities including tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting.
•Manage requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity.
•Develop test plans, acceptance criteria, and analysis tools to evaluate system performance using simulation and field data.
•Use data-driven analysis to verify customer requirements are met and trace performance as the system evolves.
•Own systems end-to-end, identifying and solving problems across seams to achieve the ultimate outcome.

Salary: USD 165,000 - 218,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hardware and software systems engineering experience. Degree in Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
•Demonstrated use of model based systems engineering in program lifecycle. Experience with tools such as: JAMA, Cameo, Matlab, Simulink, AFSIM.
•Proficiency with programming languages such as Python for data parsing, modeling & simulation, data analysis, and visualization.
•Skilled in Statistics, AI/ML, Requirements, Testing, MBSE.
•Demonstrated proficiency in the application of engineering standards into engineering processes or requirements.
