Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in developing TBI educational initiatives and teaching the healthcare team.
  • •Ensure healthcare providers understand new TBI clinical care standards and practice guidelines.
  • •Deliver education programs and/or TBI information to service members, veterans, families, and civilians.
  • •Collaborate with clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams to provide educational opportunities for military and veteran TBI care.
  • •Conduct outreach, provide consultation to military and veterans sites on TBI education issues, and serve as a TBI education resource for the assigned region.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a health-related/clinical field (RN, Social Worker, PT, OT, SLP, etc.).
  • •2+ years of clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, and/or rehabilitation settings.
  • •2+ years of experience developing and teaching healthcare education and training activities, including curriculum for TBI-related issues.
  • •Knowledge of healthcare and care for traumatic brain injured patients, including experience developing and teaching healthcare topics.
  • •Excellent communication skills (public speaking, classroom and meeting facilitation) and computer proficiency for presentations and database management; ability to obtain a T3 security investigation.
