Own and drive diagnosis of product incidents across the global Altius fleet, triaging hardware, software, and networking failures using telemetry and logs. Translate between engineering and non-technical stakeholders, maintain runbooks and triage procedures, support customer-facing incidents, and support missions through responsive technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, triage, diagnose, and root-cause product incidents across the global Altius fleet and drive postmortem actions.
•Perform log review, telemetry analysis, and diagnostics using Linux and command-line tools to isolate failures across hardware, software, and networking.
•Build deep technical expertise across the Altius air vehicle and launcher configurations, tracing failures at the integration boundary.
•Partner with software and hardware engineering teams to turn field failures into systemic reliability improvements and permanent design changes.
•Support customer-facing incidents by delivering responsive technical support and communicating mitigation and resolution clearly.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years supporting, troubleshooting, or maintaining complex technical systems (aerospace, robotics, automotive, defense, or electromechanical).
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on military, aerospace, or industrial technical experience.
•Strong problem-solving aptitude at the hardware/software/networking interface, with proven ability to bring vague issues to clarity and resolution.
•Demonstrated self-starter ability to find and resolve issues independently across a complex technical system.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance, and based in (or willing to relocate to) the Atlanta, GA area.
