Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake the design and review of structural elements on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects from concept through construction.
  • •Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholder buy-in and contribute to AECOM’s wider technical capability.
  • •Produce and review deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
  • •Take responsibility for delivering to the agreed budget, programme, and quality, including supporting preparation of project budget and programme.
  • •Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others, and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • •Structural analysis and design experience, particularly with reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
  • •Experience working in a digital delivery environment using BIM and 3D design tools.
  • •Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE or IStructE).
  • •Ability to produce and review deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
