Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as System Owner for chilled-water, process cooling water, and EG/low-temperature loop systems across build, commissioning, and operations.
  • •Review build basis, cooling-load calculations, hydraulic sizing, and deliverables (P&IDs, hydraulic models, schedules, pipe routing) against standards and applicable codes.
  • •Lead commissioning and system start-up: develop qualification/commissioning protocols, verify hydraulic and temperature-control performance, and manage plant sequence-of-operations.
  • •Own O&M performance and maintenance strategy (PM, predictive, condition-based) using RCM/FMEA; manage work orders via SAP PM and ensure safe 24/7 availability.
  • •Own water-treatment/chemical-dosing and Legionella control programs; drive reliability/root-cause actions, energy/efficiency optimization, and OPEX/CAPEX budgeting with change management (MOC).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering field from an accredited university (MQA/Engineering Accreditation Council).
  • •At least 5 years of mechanical or facilities engineering experience with central chilled-water plants, process cooling water, and low-temperature glycol systems.
  • •Direct experience supporting semiconductor/wafer-fab, data-centre, pharmaceutical, or other critical cleanroom environments, including ability to support shift/weekend/night/emergency work when required.
  • •Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and rotating-equipment.
  • •Experience owning OPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control, with solid understanding of BMS platforms and SAP PM; AI-enabled ways of working are a plus.
