Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist technicians with scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair of equipment/vehicles/plant, minimizing downtime.
  • •Maintain good workshop housekeeping, properly care for tools, and ensure work is recorded in log books/work orders for the Maintenance Management System.
  • •Follow standard safety procedures during maintenance to prevent personal injury and damage to equipment/vehicles/plant.
  • •Execute ULD repair and assembly tasks according to MOE procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and EASA/GCAA regulations.
  • •Assist engineering maintenance for facility equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and for Ground Power Unit (GPU), Preconditioned Air (PCA), and generators.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in Facilities/Maintenance, including Auto/Electric Mechanic.
  • •2 years trade certificate course in an engineering field.
  • •Experience maintaining facilities and vehicles/equipment (Facilities/Auto/Electric/Civil), ideally in aviation ground support and/or cargo handling.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronic/automobile/air-con & refrigeration systems and material handling equipment/systems.
  • •Proven ability to communicate in English (verbal and written), with understanding of relevant MOE, EASA/GCAA regulations and safety standards.
