Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement the Health and Safety Management System and act as the HSE focal point for allocated locations.
  • •Enforce HSE policies and carry out fire safety inspections across DHCM properties and facilities.
  • •Manage incident and emergency response: investigate accidents/near misses, track corrective actions, prepare drill plans, and ensure required reports.
  • •Oversee contractor HSE aspects: monitor activities, perform H&S audits, review/approve H&S and permits, and conduct service provider meetings.
  • •Conduct risk assessments, chair HSE performance meetings, ensure ISO compliance and internal audits, and produce weekly/monthly HSE reporting and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related HSE discipline, with a Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001.
  • •Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in facilities management, community management, large-scale projects, or shopping mall environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of HSE management systems (IMS development, implementation, maintenance, compliance management, continuous improvement).
  • •Understanding of international HSE standards and regulations, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, WELL requirements, and UAE Fire & Life Safety (FLS) / NFPA codes.
  • •Proficiency in HSE management applications and Microsoft Office; NEBOSH IGC Level 3 is an advantage.
