Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage all on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction activities, ensuring works fully comply with approved drawings, specifications, hotel operator standards, and local authority requirements.
  • •Monitor daily MEP site progress, supervise contractors and subcontractors, and enforce strict adherence to quality, safety, testing, and commissioning requirements.
  • •Coordinate all MEP interfaces with CSA, ID, kitchen/laundry systems, façade, AV/IT, ELV, and specialist suppliers to ensure seamless installation and prevent construction clashes.
  • •Review MEP contractors’ shop drawings with consultants, method statements, material submissions, construction programs, and progress claims relevant to the MEP scope.
  • •Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly, lead MEP inspections and QA/QC checks, and prepare detailed progress and technical reports for management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related MEP discipline.
  • •8–10 years of relevant experience.
  • •Strong understanding of local codes and standards for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV, and building systems.
  • •Professional certification or membership (e.g., P.Eng/PE, CIBSE, IEE, ASHRAE, IEM) is an advantage.
  • •Proven experience in Testing & Commissioning (T&C), authority submissions, contractor management, and MEP integration with other trades.
