Job Summary

Own product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for factory-floor manufacturing software used by production operators, supervisors, and manufacturing engineers. Lead product planning for the next 6–12 months, define outcomes and prioritized backlogs, and translate functional and non-functional requirements into execution. Conduct onsite problem discovery, align stakeholders across engineering/design/data/business, and drive deployment, adoption, and enablement in shipbuilding factories where downtime stops production.

•Develop long-term manufacturing software strategy that navigates tradeoffs, integration dependencies, and buy-vs-build decisions.
•Gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements, synthesizing them into a prioritized backlog.
•Communicate roadmap and delivery across stakeholders and judge underlying needs versus requests.
•Conduct onsite factory-floor research by walking the floor and engaging with technicians and operators to improve the product.
•Drive adoption and enablement of manufacturing software and manage dynamics between Maritime Digital Production and partner platform teams.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•8+ years in a software product management role or similar leading role in product development.
•Domain expertise in hardware-related industries such as manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, or logistics.
•Ability to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements (capacity, performance, reliability) and translate them into a prioritized backlog.
•Strong understanding of enterprise systems including ERP, WMS, MES, PLM, and supplier portals.
•Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder alignment in operational environments; includes experience observing workflows firsthand on a production/factory floor.
