Job Summary

Lead and deliver infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and industrial projects within the Asset Management team. Own project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of defined project work packages, including P&L accountability, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, and contract/change management. You’ll manage multi-disciplinary teams of technical staff and suppliers, develop project documentation, oversee schedules and forecasts, and champion health and safety, quality delivery, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage project proposals by determining requirements, scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates (budgets) for delivery.
•Own P&L and commercial accountability including revenue delivery, margin/overhead management, budget and forecast attainment, risk/opportunity reviews, and cost controls.
•Develop project management documentation such as project plans, cost estimates/forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, and org charts.
•Monitor and control project schedule, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
•Lead contract administration and change management, manage project deliverables/records, and lead multi-disciplinary teams while promoting health and safety and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects, with advantageous experience in the regulated water industry (non-regulated water also considered).
•Working knowledge or accreditation in NEC-supported contracts, with practical skills to administer NEC Contracts.
•Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI, or MICE (or working toward chartership with a relevant body).
•Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
•Demonstrated competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
