Job Summary

Lead the technical delivery of ITS and electrical designs for major Queensland infrastructure projects. Provide discipline leadership across ITS and electrical engineering, ensure Australian standards compliance, and drive multi-disciplinary delivery, client engagement, and growth in smart transport systems within a collaborative WSP team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical delivery of ITS and electrical designs across major projects, providing deep expertise and strategic insight.
•Lead and oversee the design, review and verification of ITS solutions and provide discipline leadership across ITS design, quality, and delivery.
•Ensure alignment with Australian standards, RPEQ requirements, and WSP best practice; manage multi-disciplinary project delivery.
•Partner with project directors and client teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and alliance partners.
•Mentor and develop emerging talent within the ITS team and contribute to strategic growth and capability planning.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) and Chartered status (CPEng / RPEQ or equivalent).
•Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in ITS and electrical design within Australia.
•Strong knowledge of communications, network operations, and smart transport systems.
•Proven track record in leading technical delivery across complex, large-scale projects and in client engagement.
•Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
