Casualty Loss Adjuster

Handle and investigate allocated casualty claims for insurers, policyholders, and brokers, whether in the field or from the desk. Compile evidence, prepare preliminary reports, assess policy indemnity and legal liability, and determine next steps toward resolution within authority limits. Defend or negotiate settlements as appropriate, maintain reserves through regular review, and keep current on technical changes through company training. Field-based caseloads cover the South East, requiring travel in the area.
