Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, service, and repair vehicle powered (diesel engine) road transport refrigeration units, maximizing revenue and controlling stock costs.
  • •Monitor, inspect, and assess fleet condition and operation, making suggestions for corrective action as appropriate.
  • •Optimize and maintain engineer van stock to support service delivery to customers.
  • •Ensure daily safety checks on the company van and adhere to company health and safety procedures and ISO9001 standards.
  • •Complete paperwork and on-line (PDA) requirements, liaising with central control/service center on job timing, downtime/overtime authorisation, cost updates, and purchase orders.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least three grade C’s or above.
  • •Qualified to 2078 Refrigerant Handling and 2079 F-Gas.
  • •Experienced in electrics, including 3 phase and brazing (certified).
  • •Time served as a Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or Commercial Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • •Clean UK driving licence and able to work safely and professionally on own initiative, including extensive travel and physically fit to perform required tasks.
