Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, service, and repair vehicle-powered road transport refrigeration units, following published guidance and safety practices.
  • •Monitor, inspect, and assess fleet condition and operation, suggesting corrective action where appropriate.
  • •Maintain engineer van stock to optimize service delivery and maximize revenue generation on contract accounts.
  • •Complete safety checks, paperwork, and PDA requirements to enable central control and invoicing.
  • •Liaise with central control/service centre on job start/completion times, downtime, overtime authorization, cost updates, and customer purchase orders.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to 2078 Refrigerant Handling and 2079 F-Gas.
  • •Experienced in electrics including 3-phase and brazing certified.
  • •Time served as a Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or Commercial Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • •Able to work on own initiative while maintaining customer units and company property to high standards.
  • •Clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays; physically fit for required tasks.
