Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate power plant assets safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • •Participate in safety programs and promptly report unusual or potentially unsafe operating conditions while taking action to mitigate risks.
  • •Perform inspections, water analysis, troubleshooting, and monitor operating parameters, alarms, pressures, temperatures, vibration indicators, and production efficiencies.
  • •Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including routine maintenance for water treatment equipment and assisting contractors with turbine maintenance tasks.
  • •De-energize equipment as required (lock-out/tag-out), document maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and keep work areas clean and safe.

Key Requirements

  • •Four years of experience in power plant operations.
  • •Ability to read, write, communicate effectively in English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • •Preferred: technical training and demonstrated ability to perform successfully in similar work environments.
