Job Summary

Manage Cisco’s Hardware Development Lab to enable the development, validation, and debugging of Engineering Validation Boards (EVBs) and next-generation networking hardware. Own day-to-day lab operations, design and maintain lab infrastructure, install and configure equipment, and build engineering testbeds. Support prototype bring-up and troubleshooting across networking, power, OS, and test instruments, while creating automation scripts and maintaining documentation, calibration, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day operation of the Hardware Development Lab.
•Design, build, and maintain lab infrastructure for EVB development and validation.
•Install, configure, and maintain lab equipment (servers, switches, networking equipment, power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal equipment, and measurement instruments).
•Procure, rack, cable, label, and inventory lab equipment with accurate asset tracking.
•Develop automation scripts, maintain lab documentation and calibration records, and ensure compliance with ESD, safety, calibration, security, and quality standards.

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related) and 5+ years supporting hardware development labs or engineering environments.

•Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
•Experience using lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
