Job Summary

Own safe and stable day-to-day operations of the production unit within the Hydroxide Line 2 team. Partner cross-functionally with EHS, commercial, manufacturing, and R&D to drive shorter-range process improvement, resolve production and process issues, and support reliability and capacity initiatives through asset utilization analysis. Contribute to safety through observations, audits, MOC-related actions, and incident investigations to improve safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the site’s safety efforts through safety observations, safety improvement projects, and key safety procedure audits.
•Resolve day-to-day production issues and process problems.
•Initiate and/or approve MOC requests, including action items, training, PSSR’s, and communicate changes.
•Assist in incident investigations by identifying root causes and corrective actions to improve safety and environmental performance.
•Analyze asset utilization data for reliability and capacity improvement, and drive process safety assessment and improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate process technology information.

Key Requirements

•BS in Chemical Engineering required; experience in Extractive Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or Hydrometallurgy is strongly considered.
•3–10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment; crystallizer experience and cGMP (or equivalent quality systems) preferred.
•Strong knowledge of chemical processing and the ability to solve complex chemical engineering process problems.
•Exposure to production and process functions.
•Proficient in Project Management & AFE Process; presentation skills and public speaking.
