Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with role-specific safety, health, environment, and quality obligations and help lead a strong safety culture.
  • •Deliver structural analysis and design for power and energy projects, particularly high-voltage substations and related civil/structural assets.
  • •Design and assess substation GIS buildings and associated structures, including control buildings, switchrooms, equipment support structures, gantries, foundations, and related civil/structural components.
  • •Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings, schedules, technical notes, and construction documentation; independently verify model inputs/assumptions/outputs.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support during tender, detailed design, fabrication, and construction, including responding to technical queries and reviewing contractor/vendor information.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • •Approximately 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably in consulting or design.
  • •Strong experience in structural analysis, design, and design documentation for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • •Experience with foundations and support structures for substation equipment, gantries, or related electrical infrastructure.
  • •Proficiency with structural analysis/design tools (e.g., SpaceGass, ETABS, Strand7, STAAD.Pro, RAPT, SAFE, IDEA StatiCa) and Microsoft Excel; ability to prepare clear calculations and reports in professional English.
