Job Summary

Consultant to join our Real Estate Advisory team to help clients transform how their buildings are used. You’ll apply data-driven analysis to real estate portfolios, develop robust business cases to unlock funding, and collaborate with senior leaders across health, education, defence, local and central government, and commercial sectors to deliver strategic, resilient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and develop tailored real estate solutions for real problems.
•Conduct in-depth research and feasibility studies to support the development of business cases and estate solutions.
•Provide expert advice on the latest real estate and sector industry trends.
•Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and to budget.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Scotland, identifying new opportunities and preparing compelling proposals.

Key Requirements

•Essential knowledge of the UK Real Estate industry with 2-5 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side environment; proven ability to author strategic documentation including Business Cases and/or Estate Strategies for Real Estate change and investment.
•Knowledge of the HM Treasury Green Book 5-Case Model.
•Experience in at least one of Defence / Local Government / Central Government / Healthcare / Education / Commercial sectors with understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procurement.
•Effective communicator who listens and understands client needs.
•Desirable: Relevant industry qualification or degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Surveying or similar; Security Clearance (SC) or willingness to attain clearance; Demonstrable leadership abilities and experience delivering projects on time and within budget; Financial analysis capability; Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
