Key Responsibilities

  • •Own performance-critical analog mixed-signal circuit blocks used in Serdes, including DAC/ADC, clocking circuits, and analog front-end circuits.
  • •Define circuit-driven micro-architectures of Tx and Rx subsystems and drive sub-block level specs.
  • •Own power, performance, area, and jitter budgets of analog design blocks.
  • •Mentor sub-block owners and conduct peer reviews of design and verification results.
  • •Work with pre-tapeout verification and post-silicon validation teams to bring up silicon and analyze silicon results.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 189,000 - 270,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong background in advanced ultra-high-speed electrical and/or optical PHY design.
  • •Experience designing performance-critical analog mixed-signal circuit blocks for Serdes, including high-speed data converters and clocking circuits.
  • •Ability to define circuit-driven micro-architectures for Tx and Rx subsystems and drive sub-block level specifications.
  • •Track record taking analog designs from bring-up and validation through successful ramp to mass production.
  • •Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or an M.S. with relevant industrial experience in optical and/or electrical transceiver design.
