Job Summary

Coordinate insurance claim approvals for hospital admissions and special services. Receive and verify claim forms, check required details in the UCAF system, and prepare UCAF submissions via fax/email to insurance or direct companies. Follow up on approvals, convey approval/disapproval outcomes to patients and the admission office, coordinate with physicians for additional justification, and enter approvals into the HMIS, including handling extensions and ER-admitted cases.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive claim forms from nurses or relatives for admission approval purposes.
•Verify attached ID copies and review UCAF form details in the system for physician-requested investigations.
•Prepare printed UCAF and send it via fax or email to the concerned insurance or direct company.
•Follow up with the insurance company for approvals, then convey approvals/disapprovals to patients and the admission office.
•Enter acquired approvals into HMIS and coordinate with physicians and insurance for additional justification or extensions as needed.

Key Requirements

•Two (2) years of experience in the accounting field.
•Good experience in a similar position, especially in patient accounts.
•College graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Major in Management).
•English and Arabic typing proficiency.
•Computer literacy (MS Office) with familiarity in medical terminology.
