Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end manufacturing process for recertification, repair, and refurbishment/overhaul of returned AUVs and major subassemblies.
  • •Lead intake and disposition of field returns, including triage and failure analysis with Quality and Design, and partnership with the Material Review Board (MRB).
  • •Develop and maintain repair-specific routings, work instructions, tooling, and inspection criteria distinct from new-build flows.
  • •Define and own the recertification test flow that gates a repaired or overhauled vehicle’s return to service.
  • •Stand up planning, scheduling, and material flows for refurb/overhaul cycles; coordinate with Supply Chain; apply Lean/Six Sigma to reduce turnaround time, scrap, and rework; mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
  • •5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership skills with an expertise in manufacturing.
