Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Startups Account Executives to build and execute technical account strategy for new logos and expanded consumption.
  • •Conduct consultative discovery with founders, CTOs, and technical leaders and translate priorities into data, analytics, AI, and platform use cases.
  • •Lead the technical sales motion from discovery through evaluation: define success criteria, develop solution architectures, deliver demos, and coordinate proofs of concept.
  • •Provide technical leadership across data engineering, data warehousing, analytics and BI, machine learning, GenAI, and related cloud-native workloads.
  • •Create technical wins by connecting customer outcomes to the Databricks platform and advising on architecture and technology decisions.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, consulting, or equivalent roles.
  • •Proven experience leading technical discovery and architecture discussions with software engineers and senior technical decision-makers.
  • •Experience designing distributed data systems and cloud-native solutions.
  • •Hands-on programming in at least one of Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
  • •Experience building solutions on public-cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
