Key Responsibilities

  • •Review hardware, software, and service purchase requisitions/material masters to ensure complete flow-down of requirements and quality specifications.
  • •Act as the technical interface between Supplier Quality, SCM, and suppliers on rejected materials, and analyze defect data with program and supplier management.
  • •Lead containment, root-cause corrective action (8D/closed-loop RCCA) activities and support the supplier corrective action process, review, approval, and monitoring.
  • •Identify and mitigate supplier risk; support assessments and on-site source surveillance, including participation in design/program/process change/qualification/test reviews.
  • •Support supplier assessment plans, facilitate continuous improvement using six sigma/lean methods, and develop/track KPIs and metrics for supplier quality performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, engineering, and/or supplier performance.
  • •Ability to interpret schematic drawings and apply hardware inspection techniques.
  • •Experience with statistical analysis processes and tools.
  • •Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, pivot charts, PowerPoint charts, Word/Outlook).
  • •Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start, and U.S. citizenship is required.
