Key Responsibilities

  • •Support delivery of large schemes and lead smaller schemes within the technical design team, providing technical guidance to water and wastewater project teams.
  • •Lead and manage mechanical designs within the Water sector, overseeing engineering design work and ensuring compliance with best practices and UK regulations.
  • •Coordinate technical inputs, programme requirements, and deliverables to support efficient project delivery.
  • •Direct BIM teams using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit (or similar) to produce high-quality project models and design outputs.
  • •Mentor junior staff within the mechanical team and act as a senior point of contact for development teams and clients on key projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical engineering degree and professional qualification, with membership of an appropriate professional institution.
  • •Experience in an infrastructure programme and project delivery environment, including delivering complex projects.
  • •Experience delivering projects to a defined budget and schedule.
  • •Client-facing experience.
  • •Experience mentoring or coaching junior civil engineering staff to develop technical skills and professional development.
