Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain the SMARTer Hazard Log.
  • •Develop and maintain the eCassandra hazard log derived from the SMARTer Hazard Log.
  • •Verify the quality of submissions to the Hazard Log.
  • •Convert data from SMARTer to eCassandra format.
  • •Work with Safety, MOD, TA teams, and embedded Safety Engineers to ensure maturity of both hazard logs.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain SMARTer and eCassandra hazard logs for delivery to the MOD.
  • •Understand database concepts and be familiar with data manipulation.
  • •Have strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, plus spreadsheet/database office application skills.
  • •Verify the quality of hazard log submissions and ensure hazard logs remain accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with SMARTer updates.
  • •Support translation of the pertinent “design” safety argument into the “In service” hazard log.
