Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete inspection reports to document crane/hoist findings and ensure safe operations.
  • •Inspect structural components (sheaves, blocks, hooks), operating mechanisms, and safety devices, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • •Perform minor repairs on structural, mechanical, electrical, operational, and safety items to meet inspection requirements.
  • •Perform load tests per requirements and document results.
  • •Use correct hand and voice signals, follow rigging safety procedures, report major concerns in writing, and report injuries/potential accidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of experience to perform the duties as an inspector.
  • •Maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • •Maintain Crane Inspector and Operator/Rigging Certification through NCCO or an equivalent agency.
  • •Obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
  • •Pass required background checks and/or drug testing, and complete daily work order logs.
