Key Responsibilities

  • •Support delivery of Scotland water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Scottish Water and enterprise partners, shaping design excellence at scale.
  • •Contribute to design and delivery of essential infrastructure such as pipelines, pumping stations, and sewer upgrades across Scotland.
  • •Help implement flood-resilient solutions, including blue/green infrastructure retrofit and Natural Flood Management measures.
  • •Drive climate resilience and low-carbon design using gravity-fed systems, carbon-efficient materials, and renewable technologies.
  • •Support complex engineering delivery in Scotland’s remote locations with a focus on environmental sensitivity and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering subject (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, structural).
  • •Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
  • •Knowledge and experience working in the water sector.
