Job Summary

Hydraulics Design Engineer will contribute to the design and coordination of plumbing and drainage systems for healthcare facility projects, supporting design development through construction administration. You’ll prepare design documents under senior engineers, inspect installations, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure code compliance and practical, cost-effective solutions across healthcare-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the design, coordination, and integration of Plumbing & Drainage systems for building projects, supporting all stages from design development to tender preparation and construction administration.
•Contribute to the preparation of design documents, helping develop cost-effective and practical engineering solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
•Support the creation and coordination of project documentation, including drawings and specifications, and assist in reviewing inputs from the wider design team.
•Participate in site inspections to monitor Plumbing & Drainage installation works, help track progress, and support commissioning activities as required.
•Attend project coordination meetings and work collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to help ensure the Plumbing & Drainage design intent and code compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or above in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
•3 to 5 years of relevant engineering design experience in P&D systems
•Experience in healthcare facilities or project management advantageous
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
