Job Summary

Senior UI/UX Designer with Human-Centered Design expertise to guide research, define UX frameworks, and lead end-to-end UI development. You will deliver actionable design specs, drive user research plans, and collaborate with product teams to ensure scalable, accessible interfaces built with ReactJS, HTML/CSS, and Tailwind in a fast-paced government/defense context.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide subject matter expertise in UX design with a focus on Human-Centered Design and design thinking, including user research, personas, journey mapping, prototyping, and usability evaluation.
•Create and deliver a UX Research Plan and Outcomes for each use case, including goals, methodology, and next steps.
•Facilitate discovery activities with users and stakeholders, conduct information architecture and accessibility reviews, and synthesize findings into a UX research checklist.
•Partner with product teams to ensure new tools/services fit into existing structures and design standards.
•Lead the design and development of user interfaces for various applications, delivering visually appealing, user-friendly, and efficient interfaces.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of related experience
•Familiarity with front-end development and specifically in ReactJS and JavaScript development
•Familiarity with UX, information architecture, content strategy, and best practices in user centered design
•Experience with Figma or other related design tool
•Experience designing dynamic forms with drag & drop functionality and providing clear interface design specifications
