Job Summary

Act as a trusted advisor and operating right hand to the co-founders and CEO, owning cross-functional problems and helping leadership run the company with focus, speed, and clarity. You’ll maintain Stepful’s “Rhythm of Business,” drive planning cadences and KPI systems, lead board/investor communications, and execute high-impact special projects across teams—while handling confidential information with sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the co-founders and leadership team by surfacing risks/tradeoffs/opportunities and driving clear decisions.
•Run the company’s operating system (“Rhythm of Business”), translating priorities into communication and facilitating planning cadences.
•Track company-wide KPIs and maintain systems behind them, partnering with Finance to keep leadership’s source of truth accurate.
•Lead executive, board, and investor communications, drafting board materials and monthly investor updates using underlying analysis.
•Drive cross-functional special projects end to end, including problem definition, execution, and building required analysis.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

•5+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, or a similar role at a high-growth startup.
•Strong analytical ability with a structured approach to breaking down ambiguous problems and comfort working directly with data.
•Excellent written and verbal communication with senior and external audiences.
•Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and lead through influence.
•Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
