Job Summary

Join Birlasoft as Sr. IoT Developer to design, build, and deploy full-stack IoT edge applications. You’ll work across Python/NodeJS backends and HTML/JS front-ends, integrate with multiple IoT hardware and sensors, and implement MQTT/HTTP/TCP/IP communications. You’ll help define requirements and workflows for edge deployment in a fast-growing IoT edge ecosystem with SDLC/Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Create reusable, high-performing web applications from front end to back end that deliver great user experience and design
•Define requirements and workflows for managing and securing IoT edge applications
•Collaborate across teams to integrate IoT hardware, sensors and diverse communication protocols
•Develop and deploy IoT edge solutions with SDLC/Agile practices in mind
•Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, ThingWorx) and databases (SQL, No-SQL) to support edge workloads

Key Requirements

•1-3 years of experience in IoT development
•Design, develop and deploy applications with Python/NodeJS as backend and HTML, Angular/ReactJS, JS as frontend
•Experience with multiple IoT hardware and sensors
•Knowledge of communication protocols MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP
•Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, ThingWorx; working with SQL and No-SQL databases; SDLC and Agile methodologies
