Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement land strategies supporting capital expansion projects, overseeing negotiating, planning, and execution of land contracts.
  • •Manage multiple projects by coordinating with contractors, surveyors, legal teams, and project managers to align with timelines.
  • •Negotiate damage settlements and acquire right-of-way, fee property, and lease terms; coordinate with third-party land contractors for pipeline easements and land rights.
  • •Provide land administrative support for acquisition and divestiture, including drafting/reviewing land documents such as easements, leases, licenses, permits, deeds, assignments, options, and related agreements.
  • •Maintain land records and databases: analyze/integrate acquired properties, update records, and record real estate documents in public records.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10+ years land-related work experience, or 5+ years with a Degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, or similar.
  • •Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • •Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office and high experience using MS Excel.
  • •Working knowledge of land laws and regulatory requirements in Texas and other oil-producing states.
