Develop and implement land strategies to support capital expansion projects across your assigned area. Oversee right-of-way acquisition, title research, and landowner negotiations for pipeline easements, fee properties, and lease terms. Coordinate land contractors, surveyors, legal teams, and project managers, and support due diligence, records/database updates, and documentation for acquisition and divestiture of pipeline-related land assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement land strategies supporting capital expansion projects, overseeing negotiating, planning, and execution of land contracts.
•Manage multiple projects by coordinating with contractors, surveyors, legal teams, and project managers to align with timelines.
•Negotiate damage settlements and acquire right-of-way, fee property, and lease terms; coordinate with third-party land contractors for pipeline easements and land rights.
•Provide land administrative support for acquisition and divestiture, including drafting/reviewing land documents such as easements, leases, licenses, permits, deeds, assignments, options, and related agreements.
•Maintain land records and databases: analyze/integrate acquired properties, update records, and record real estate documents in public records.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•8–10+ years land-related work experience, or 5+ years with a Degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, or similar.
•Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
•Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office and high experience using MS Excel.
•Working knowledge of land laws and regulatory requirements in Texas and other oil-producing states.
