Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage and develop a team of qualified Swimming Teachers, including recruitment, rotas, performance and development.
  • •Coordinate and grow the swimming lessons programme by introducing new sessions and courses to meet community needs.
  • •Ensure high-quality lesson delivery to encourage retention and repeat participation.
  • •Build relationships with customers, schools and local partners to support outreach and programme growth.
  • •Monitor performance via reporting and KPIs and support operational delivery, including stepping in to teach when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Swim England Level 2 or STA Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification.
  • •Experience managing or supervising teams within a leisure or aquatics environment.
  • •Strong customer service skills and the ability to build trust with customers.
  • •Experience delivering or managing swimming lesson programmes with high customer volumes.
  • •Confidence using IT systems and producing reports, with strong communication and organisational skills.
