Job Summary

Lead moderately sized engineering projects/processes with deep subject-matter expertise in EMI/EMC for airborne electronic hardware and systems. Coordinate and facilitate EMI/EMC qualification testing with internal and external stakeholders, author qualification test plans, procedures, and reports, and provide technical support to product design teams to troubleshoot and improve designs. Coach and mentor lower-level professionals while planning, estimating, and mitigating risks to improve processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage moderately sized projects or processes with subject-matter expertise in EMI/EMC.
•Coordinate and facilitate EMI/EMC qualification testing of airborne electronic hardware and systems with internal and external stakeholders.
•Coach, mentor, and review the work of lower-level professionals to support discipline goals and planning (including budgets and operational plans).
•Drive moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance work-area performance.
•Provide technical support to product design teams to troubleshoot and improve designs; prepare estimates and schedules and implement risk mitigation plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with 12–16 years of experience.
•Extensive experience performing EMI/EMC qualification testing per DO-160 and MIL-STD-461.
•Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC instruments, antennas, and chambers.
•Experience authoring EMI/EMC qualification test plans, procedures, and reports.
•Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and power supply design, including PCB layout/fabrication and board assembly/process knowledge.
