Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery within buildings, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance as part of the overnight shift schedule (M, T, W, Thu 6pm to 6am).
  • •Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment such as a voltmeter, ohmmeter, and megohmmeter.
  • •Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and understand AC motor controls, DC motors, variable frequency drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls from wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.
  • •Work independently to complete work orders and maintain maintenance log books while maintaining high standards for environment, health and safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Licensed journeyman electrician in the state of Massachusetts.
  • •5 years industrial or manufacturing related work experience.
  • •Experience running EMT and rigid conduit, including threading and bending (1/2" to 2") and fitting components such as kicks, saddles, and offsets.
  • •Experience repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits and equipment with understanding of electrical networking and control systems.
  • •Knowledge of PLC controlled production lines and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
