Key Responsibilities

  • •Cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility by engaging employees and advising the Emergency Response Team and Safety Committee.
  • •Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in line with local, state, and federal regulations, and liaise with relevant agencies.
  • •Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards and implement strategies to minimize or eliminate risks.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and conduct ES&H training programs for employees at all levels.
  • •Lead sustainability efforts to reduce the organization’s environmental footprint and manage site security (access control, CCTV, and security personnel), and act as Management Representative for OSHA VPP Star Certification.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety and Health, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related science field.
  • •Two years of experience in Environmental and Industrial Health and Safety, including air, water, and waste in manufacturing settings.
  • •Applied knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations.
  • •Broad knowledge of hazards and chemical processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Broad knowledge of federal OSHA and state safety regulations and programs.
