Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of backend services and APIs powering Kensho’s AI applications, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
  • •Oversee the architecture and implementation of retrieval and orchestration services that integrate with ML systems and enable grounded GenAI outputs.
  • •Set standards for diagnosing latency, throughput, and scalability issues with strong monitoring and instrumentation practices.
  • •Shape the architectural roadmap for backend foundations supporting the GenAI platform and ML toolkits; review designs for clarity and reliability.
  • •Maintain rigorous API security, authentication, authorization, and data-privacy practices aligned with Kensho and S&P Global requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience with at least 4+ years developing customer-facing APIs in a team
