Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, and lead scalable, reliable data pipelines and the transformation layer.
  • •Own dbt standards and best practices; manage the full lifecycle of dimensional models and metrics from prototyping to production.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with product owners, data analysts, and business leaders to scope and deliver analytics initiatives.
  • •Operate as an independent individual contributor delivering architecturally sound solutions with ownership of critical data domains.
  • •Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers while improving engineering rigor, code quality, and technical excellence.
  • •Design and build database architectures for large-scale data volumes with attention to performance and warehouse cost efficiency.
  • •Identify and address technical debt by improving tooling, automating workflows, and streamlining transformation and deployment.
  • •Maintain documentation for data models, processes, workflows, and systems.
  • •Drive adoption of unified enterprise metric definitions through stakeholder alignment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,400 - 276,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional experience in an Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering role in a SaaS or high-tech environment.
  • •7+ years of professional experience with SQL and production experience with a major cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • •Extensive experience with dbt, including advanced features such as macros, packages, source freshness, and custom tests.
  • •Strong familiarity with version control (GitHub), CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
  • •Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
