Job Summary

Develop and validate reliability and maintainability analyses for radar and sensor products within the Life Cycle Engineering team. Conduct RAM and availability assessments, perform FMECA and FDFI analyses, maintain Reliability Block Diagrams and system models, and run FRACAS failure investigations. Support proposal efforts with RAM Basis of Estimates, track Earned Value for RAM/FRACAS scope, and present results to stakeholders at program reviews. Onsite role in Portsmouth, RI.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses including reliability and maintainability predictions.
•Perform FMECA and FDFI analyses and define/allocate RAM requirements.
•Assess RAM performance using MTBF, MTBCF, and operational availability, and interpret data/results.
•Maintain complex Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) and system models, and execute FRACAS tasks including trend analysis and failure investigations.
•Support proposals with RAM Basis of Estimates and track Earned Value for RAM/FRACAS schedule and budget; present status at program meetings and Failure Review Boards.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with reliability, maintainability, and failure analysis and/or electrical design.
•Experience with Reliability and FRACAS engineering concepts including reliability/maintainability predictions, FMECA/FDFI, RBDs, MTBF/MTBCF, Ao, and probability risk assessment.
•Electrical engineering experience and an electrical engineering degree/education preferred.
•Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and present technical information with attention to detail and accuracy.
