Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as local subject matter expert on reimbursement, billing, coding, and patient support programs to reduce barriers to patient access.
  • •Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to increase customer knowledge of reimbursement and access processes using internal data and field insights.
  • •Maintain expertise in medical/pharmacy benefit design, payer policies, coverage criteria, and prior authorization/denials/appeals to ensure access for assigned therapies.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams and Alexion OneSource Patient Services to support individual case management and coordinate/plan activities.
  • •Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting in CRM and approved systems, aligned to priorities, KPIs, territory objectives, and budgets.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5-7 years of experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • •3+ years of experience working with buy and bill and/or specialty pharmacy networks.
  • •3+ years of field reimbursement experience, including understanding medical and pharmacy benefit design from Rx to infusion/injection.
  • •Experience with products requiring prior authorization, including billing, coding, and in-office support.
