Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand testing requirements (functional, technical, automation) and implement them while tracking and resolving discovered issues.
  • •Define the testing approach with appropriate tools, and analyze business/testing requirements to create and maintain test plans, cases, suites, and test data.
  • •Review design documents, business requirements (stories), and acceptance criteria to build test scenarios for testing activities within agile teams.
  • •Debug application components using logs and validate underlying database tables and data accuracy through SQL scripts as needed.
  • •Proactively share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks, ensuring defects are detected, reported, and prioritized with product owners.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with automated testing frameworks including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and related open-source tools.
  • •Strong coding knowledge in Java, with ability to design and create a stable, reusable automation suite that runs across multiple releases.
  • •Experience applying TDD/BDD frameworks and building test scenarios aligned to agile stories and acceptance criteria.
  • •Ability to debug application components using logs and to connect with databases for underlying table/data accuracy using SQL.
  • •Experience with test management tools such as JIRA/Zephyr/Capture/Confluence and strong communication and analytical skills.
