Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate Informatica mappings, transformations, and business rules into dbt models (SQL) on Snowflake.
  • •Design and implement dbt staging, core, and mart layers using standard dbt patterns and folder structures.
  • •Develop and maintain dbt tests to ensure data quality and data integrity, including snapshots, seeds, and reusable components.
  • •Collaborate with Snowflake developers and functional teams to ensure efficient physical data structures and functional equivalence with legacy outputs.
  • •Integrate dbt with CI/CD pipelines and support performance tuning, defect analysis, and documentation during migration and stabilization.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in Data Engineering/ETL/Data Warehousing with 2+ years using dbt (Core or Cloud).
  • •Strong SQL skills, especially on Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.
  • •Hands-on with dbt concepts such as models, tests, sources, seeds, snapshots, and macros.
  • •Prior developer-level experience with Informatica mappings/workflows is highly desirable.
  • •Knowledge of CI/CD and integrating dbt into automated pipelines, plus understanding of data modeling (dimensional models, SCDs, facts/dimensions).
