Job Summary

Participate in a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, including rotations across operations and Sales & Service followed by certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, cross-sell, and set appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions, support platform staff, maintain confidentiality, and help drive financial-center revenue and customer experience goals.

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend appropriate retail consumer and small business products/services using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and support outside sales activities including onsite presentations, sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance/referrals and support to CSRs while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to obtain/maintain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
