Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, loaders, cranes, rough-terrain vehicles) to support equipment turn-in operations.
  • •Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers, ensuring securement and compliance with Army and DOT standards.
  • •Perform PMCS on assigned equipment before, during, and after use; report deficiencies and coordinate repairs per technical manuals and site procedures.
  • •Maintain operator logs, equipment inspection/usage records, and movement documentation (e.g., DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200) for audit readiness and ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
  • •Coordinate with supply/warehouse and transportation teams to move vehicles and materiel between staging, inspection, storage, and outbound shipment areas.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a military or contractor environment.
  • •Valid driver’s license required; Army OF 346 equipment operator’s license required (or ability to obtain).
  • •Forklift/MHE certification preferred.
  • •Knowledge of Army safety and supply regulations (e.g., AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1) and maintenance standards (e.g., AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-8).
  • •Basic proficiency in English reading and writing; must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
