Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and improve mechanical system reliability, capacity, troubleshooting, and optimization, including evaluation and optimization for upgrades.
  • •Develop engineering scopes of work for mechanical projects and conduct design reviews and evaluations.
  • •Partner with internal customers and external service providers to ensure systems operate within specified limits.
  • •Support environmental compliance for facilities mechanical systems and ensure adherence to EHS/regulatory/insurance audit requirements.
  • •Conduct feasibility studies/testing for new or modified designs and contribute to mechanical system roadmaps and asset replacement strategies; provide technical guidance and emergency operations support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with 5+ years’ hands-on facilities mechanical systems experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years relevant experience.
  • •Proficiency in mechanical system design, operations, engineering, and management.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical exhaust and wet system technologies (e.g., exhaust abatement, VOC, scrubber, CHW/CW/TCHW) and preventive/corrective maintenance practices.
  • •Experience in mechanical systems design, troubleshooting, feasibility studies/testing, and stakeholder management.
  • •Ability to read and interpret design drawings/specifications and provide analytical problem-solving; coaching/mentoring experience is desired.
