Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices while operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport live poultry or poultry feed.
  • •Comply with DOT safety rules and all company and local/state/federal policies, laws, and regulations.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections, including tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, and hoses.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading trailers as necessary and ensure secure load before movement.
  • •Maintain documentation for equipment, time, trips, and weight, and clean/wash the truck and report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 21 years old.
  • •Hold a valid Class A CDL with a 1-year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Know and follow Department of Transportation, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • •Ability to perform and document pre-trip inspections and maintain proper trip/equipment documentation.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly and work unsupervised with self-motivation.
